Linga Longa Estate
From a young age two boys had a dream . They dreamt of a family retreat - a space where they could run wild and free. After years of searching for the just the right spot. The advertisement read; "Steep rugged hills and oceans of water." It was perfect. In early 2012, a core group of family and friends set about making dreams into reality . They worked on bringing the old homestead cottage back to life, emptied and restructured the dam, connected power and water and set about reclaiming the land that had been left unattended for over 20 years.
During this time, many happy memories were created, that will be cherished forever. It is a place that inspires dreams and adventure. A place that you never want to leave. A hideaway world where anything seems possible. Over the past 5 years more and more people have been captivated by the magic of this special slice of earth and all who come want to Linga Longa.
Linga Longa Mountain Bike Park
This emerged from Linga Longa Estate. Boxers Blast, custom built by Three Chillies Design and Construction is the favourite trail amongst all riders and one of the best jump and flow trails around. A majority of our trails are designed and hand built by the Linga Longa Bike Park Trail Crew. As part of this we are privileged to count Sam Hill as a friend and to have him bring his wealth of experience and that something special to the design and building of our trails from the beginning. All of these people along with the hundreds of volunteer hours by countless people that love to build and ride are creating a unique mountain biking experience for WA and Austraila. Linga Longa Bike Park boasts diversity from the rocky and raw ‘point it down’ type trails of Huggies, Rake ‘n’ Ride and Edge of the World, to fun and flowy trails namely Valley of Dreams, to the trail aptly named Mr Enduro which pretty much sums up all of the elements of Gravity Enduro in one trail.
2018 will see Linga Longa expand to build blue trails and continue to push to become the ultimate gravity destination in Western Australia.
